- The Flying Nun
Tried to watch this again recently, and it's not great art! I could really identify with the childlike nun who was always getting in trouble while trying to be helpful.
- Star Trek Original Series
I would stay up late at night to watch re-runs of this in syndication. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy made the greatest team.
- Wild, Wild West
James West was like Kirk in many ways, but sexier.
- Bonanza
There's a pattern here already. I like shows with ideal men.
- Little House on the Prairie
An ideal family, who dealt with hard times and suffering with love, courage, and equanimity. Worth striving for.
- The Waltons
I'm from a large family myself. Oh, how I wish we could have loved each other the way this family did! They had respect for their parents and each other.
- Star Trek The Next Generation
(There's a gap here between #6 and #7, because I went without TV in my home for several years.) Capt Picard and crew were the reason I bought my first VCR.
- Babylon 5
I flew to California for the series finale convention.
- Xena: Warrior Princess
(I should be ashamed of myself) Ideal partnership between strong women Xena and Gabrielle, humor, and adventure.
- Eastenders
Still devoted to this very long-running British-import soap opera which I've been watching on American public TV since 1990.

These are not the best, or the greatest, but rather the ones that have meant the most to me personally over the years, starting in childhood.

Thanks :).
