Sure there are others that could be added (and if there are any glaring omisions, let me know), but I tried to stick with some of the more famous and/or legendary live albums in rock history. Seems that the 60s and 70s were the golden age of the live album...

"Live Monsters" by Big Head Todd and the Monsters would be an excellent addition to your list.
Where is "Rock And Roll Animal"?
Nirvana is winning, i guess is because is the only album most of the voters have heard.
Hey Critco, who did you vote for (or would vote for if your choice is missing)?

You should add Metallica- S&M
Done--thanks for the suggestion.
Johnny Waco
No, you shouldn't, its a travesty.
The Orchestra was nice and all, but some of the new arrangements of the songs didn't work, since when Metallica said Yeah so much?
Now playing: Tom Waits: Dead and lovely.
Oh, come on, Johnny W, where's the Audio A live album on your list? :)
It's already canonized, so submitting it to a vote would be demeaning:)

I voted for James Brown but it was a very close call with the Cash album. Also Love the Sam Cooke selection. I might consider a few others such as Marley Live from 75 and perhaps the LAst Waltz. Nice list
Thanks! Yeah, I should add the Marley and Band selections. More of these than I originally thought...
Johnny Waco
Actually, if you're going to be nice enough to add The Last Waltz, I'm going to beg you to add The Band's Rock of Ages. Not as famous, but even better in my book.
Shalom, y'all!

A battle royale between Band live albums: I love it! I think to keep this list from getting unmanageable, I'll just keep one from the Band up. No hard feelings?...

I think the Yes album Yesshows is the best live album I've ever heard. Would you add it for me bro?
Of course I'll add it, but I have to admit I've never heard it (nor much of anything Yes for that matter).
