The Most Innovative Rock Songs.

This is just my opinion of course and there are many songs that were innovative. I just limited one song per artist or I could have added Strawberry Fields Forever. All these songs have many things in one common they are original, and they blend outside sources to blend in with Rock Music to create a new sound.
I would've listed Starwberry Fields OFrever instead of Tomorrow Never Knows.
Strawberry Fields Forever was an important song to progressive rock. I think Tomorrow Never Knows effected pop and rock music in general. The song sounds so much like techno music and much of its concepts are in today music period. The song should have been first in my opinion.
I would put Happiness Is A Warm. Three minute song with multi sections and weird signatures. Math Rock and Prog Rock all in a three minute song.
I would put Tomorrow Never Knows over Venus in Furs. Revolver true highlight is "Tomorrow Never Knows," which was the most radical song recorded in pop music up to that point. John Lennon's voice sounds as if he was high on a mountain top, calling out to anybody who'll listen--or meditate--to his voice. The song has only one chord, but has a swirling soundscape that foreshadows the sampling of late 80s/early 90s hip-hop. The song is comprised of tape loops that were used in a way similar to the modern day use of samples in rap/pop songs. Yes it's not rap or techno but anyone listening the way the tape loops were used know the song was conceptually ahead of it's time.

Well, out of the choices you've given us it is probably The End, as it is the song which introduced a free formed, staged drama to rock, which can later be found in so many rock albums that followed, including massively influential ones such as Suicide's debut (Frankie Teardrop) and Slint's Spiderland (the entire concept of the album is precursed by The End, but especially Good Morning Captain).
