The only reason I ask is because when I started to go to concerts --way back in 76 the typical concert ticket was only $4.00. Back then there wasnt a ticket master charge, no Concert clubs, and no outrageous prices of $75+ tickets. I just dont see how the youth of today can take a date to a concert when it could cost
$150+ - 2 tickets
$ 20 - 3 or 4 beers at concert venue
$ 10 - parking
$180 GRAND TOTAL.

GEE i know a guy who used to sell pot to make the money to see bands like the eagles, springsteen.....at blossom music centre....
I'm curious on who you saw. My pop's first concert was Aerosmith on May 8, 1976 and the ticket price was $8.50 (advance). (He kept his ticket stubs.)
As for me, I just pocket a couple thousand before the show and pay the scalpers... Yeah, I wish! lol
That concert for $4 was Doobie Brothers at Blossom Music Center. It was the same price to see America that same year in 1976
