Very broad, I know, but interesting nonetheless. I didn't include the Beatles, despite being tied with Led Zeppelin as my favorite because they really didn't have one. Niether John nor Paul or really George was ahead of one another. Suggest any you feel appropriate!
I was really lucky to go to a bunch of concerts as a teenager. I saw David Lee Roth in chaps doing those insane splits. I saw Jerry Garcia too many times to count. I saw Aerosmith too, after they all got off of drugs. I've seen the WHO.
Of all these guys...above and beyond my wildest expectations was Mick J...he has the energy of a teenager and was in his fifties at the time.
Another word of note an awesome underrated preformer is Tracy Chapman.
If you would have put David Bowie on this poll I wouldn't have had such a hard time choosing. I LOVE Bowie's voice.
