Agreed. Bad episode. I liked the chicken fight the first time, but I really thought this was overkill. And the plot was as fragmented and nonsensical as Simpsons plots when the show is at its worst. The beginning part with Quagmire hurts his character - the point is that women don't know he's a sex maniac. The joke with Peter groping Chris was just awkward and gross, and since when do they hang out with Mort Goldman, anyway? There were some funny moments though; I liked the blueberry pie cutaway and the one with Cleveland as an auctioneer.
This was the first time I've liked the American Dad episode better than the Family Guy episode.
The two moments you liked in the episode were the moments that I now remember liking about it. And I was about to edit the post saying that I enjoyed the American Dad that followed quite a bit.
