What about Jay's 99 Problems? I don't like his music that much, but the video was contriversal and got a lot of flak for its content.
I haven't seen every video on that list, but here's my view of music videos. I am not impressed whatsoever by special effects in videos. I can go to the movies if i want to see special effects. I'm not saying that they don't make videos cool, but i think original ideas such as fatboy slims praise you are much more enjoyable.
