A SOundtrack is different from a score. Just to clear up, score is music written and composer specifically for the movie, usually instrumental background music. Soundtracks are individual songs written by groups for personal comodity or seperate artistic purpose that filmmakers pay to use. Last of the Mohican's album is a score, Reservior Dog has a soundtrack. SOme people get them mixed up. I did for awhile.

My 4 favorite soundtracks are from the movies: Singles, The Breakfast Club, Crow, and The Wedding Singer. Awesome soundtracks.
Lost in Translation is a great soundtrack, Eternal Sunshine is also good.
IMO it goes like this:
1. Garden State
2. Grosse Point Blank
3. Pulp Fiction
those are the only ones i've heard but because GARDEN STATE is my favourite ever album (soundtrack or other) it wins this vote
I know, RUshmore, I read your Garden State Soundtrack Post. You inspired me to put it down. I'm sure there are other great soundtracks out there that I am not mentioning. But for the life of me, these are the only ones that came to mind
