it's an easy pick actually - living in clip showcases my favourite thing about ani - her live show. they way she re-inverts and emotes is stunning. she is able to pull her lastest emotional or musical influence is into her oldest song and create something that moves me in a completely new way. i saw her live just last night - apparently the folk singer has been listenting to way too much cuban music - and she sang a rendition of "Fire Door" that was heavily mamba'ed. an old standard - totally new light. mindblowing, for sure.
that and I can't get enough of that chick's laugh!
