Definitely summer slump. My movie watching has dropped in half. I'm also busy as all git out. I thought the livin' was supposed to be easy this time of year? I've bitten off more than I can chew with a certification exam for work coming up, and trying to launch a couple other sites. I do continue to read and enjoy everything you post though!
Summer slump, but I think most discussion comes when people disagree with you, and perhaps you've simply become to persuasive to have anyone mount a decent attack! Your movie selection is enviable - a great mix of recent hits, obscure art films, and beloved indies.
I suppose, but plenty of interesting posts on my other "Damn" lists were of agreement, and besides that, I'm sure there are people around here who loved Pirates of the Caribbean or The Birds, thought Down by Law had more meaning than I did, or disliked one of the many movies I praised. And I've heard so many people talk about how hilarious the Wedding Crashers is (including my mom and brother), but is Listology completely with me on that one?
Thanks, I thought my movie selection was a pretty good variety, but I am getting some votes for it being too obscure. Perhaps it's time to finally watch Taxi Driver, Jaws, The Godfather Part II, etc. Or maybe I'll even resort to (gasp) seeing the Lord of the Rings sequels!
