I haven't voted yet. Currently I am mainly torn between Faust and Trout Mask Replica. Both were and still are so far ahead of their time that they still have yet to be duplicated. Faust still sounds amazingly futuristic, so I may be leaning towards it ahead of TMR.
Also, I think VU & Nico is an outstanding choice because it is innovative and relatively accessible (much of it at least).
You could make a strong case for everything on here really. Is Rock Bottom the music of the future or is it just too subjective to ever latch onto a big enough crowd? A Love Supreme and Black Saint & the Sinner Lady have already left their footprints across jazz history, will they continue to do so on through the next century?
Anyone else have any thoughts on this extremely difficult choice? Anyone have any additions they think should be added? Any albums I am crazy not to have on here?
On this list The Velvet Underground but in the end Revolver, White Album, Led Zeppelin 4, Black Sabbath, London Calling, Nevermind and also the Velvet Underground, The Doors will be remembered and influential time is proving me right so far.
That is your opinion but the Beatles remain the most influential rock artists something go check the massive amount of artist who are influenced by them.
I know this list is super old, but I honestly think the answer is Sgt. Pepper. Dunno if that's a good thing or not

If you say so...
but already The Velvet Underground & Nico has been much more musically influential than the Beatles--all those albums combined actually.

you keep on believing that and preaching the word
LOL, sorry.
A nearly impossible choice?
