Author Comments:
My list is now in chronological order. My list of favorite movies is continually growing as I see more movies and re-watch some I've already seen. My Favorite Short Films
Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Wellcome to listology.
Are these movies in order? nice choice on (well all of them) but i really like that you mentioned
Léon,Adaptation, & True Romance Faves of mine. again wellcome to listology.
Thank you.
No, it is almost impossible for me to choose an order for them, so they're not in any type of order.
Welcome to Listology! Great list.
Thank you.
So give me one good reason that I should give O Brother Where Art Thou a second viewing (didn't care for it much the first time).
If you didn't care much for it the first time, then I doubt that there's anything that I can say to convince you to give it a second chance but you really should see it again, it's a great movie. I've only seen it 5 or 6 times but it only gets better each time.
It has great music, great acting, great directing, great story and it's great to watch.
I've only seen about 40% (155) of the movies on your list, but most of them are very good choices. Nice to see overlooked films like Suddenly and Phone Booth.
Have you seen Bronenosets Potyomkin (otherwise known as Battleship Potemkin)?
I have not seen Battleship Potemkin yet. I will probably have to order it to see it but I've heard alot of good things about it so it's probably worth it.
Yes, it certainly is worth it. Fantastic film.
How did you like Broken Blossoms? I really enjoyed this film, I'm a fan of Donald Crisp and it was interesting seeing him at least 15 years younger. I'm used to seeing him from his 30's film on. Though tragic in it's ending, I came away with the feeling that there's hope, happiness and light in the darkest and most unusual of places. Great film and it's one of my favorites as well.
Yes, Broken Blossoms is a great film. It was the first silent film I saw with Donald Crisp. I am more used to his films from the 1930's and 1940's.
