When people talk about their favorite movies, I can never really get involved in the discussion, because my favorites tend to change every couple of years.
As is evidenced by my list, I'm not into being depressed or preached to, which is an important criteria for anything on my list. I like movies with a message, and those that make you take stock, but if something is going to be my 'favorite', it needs to be something I'm up for watching no matter what.
Schindler's List was great, but I'm not gonna pop that in on a Tuesday night when I'm having trouble sleeping, ya dig?

Mitchell!

"I think there's a potato cake in here somewhere..."

Now if only I could hook a sixpack with my toe while lovin' the ladies. The guy had class.

Shalom, y'all!

I owned that Mitchell MST3K DVD (only cuz it was $5 at WalMart). Thankfully, I got rid of it via Peerflix. Certainly, it didn't live up to MST3K: The Movie.

Blasphemy!!

Indeed!

In fact, from scanning the ticket sales, I may be one of forty Americans who caught the film in the theaters, and I still favor the Mitchell episode.

My, my, my...

My own list goes something like this, chronologically:

Condorman
Ladyhawke
Lion King
Aladdin
War Games
The Matrix
Braveheart
American Beauty

Great topic for a list! :D, it can also show how mature you became about movies by time, really great list
