There still seem to be some alarming and, indeed, slightly shameful gaps in my film-viewing. I shall continue (slowly) trying to rectify them.

01/01/2011: At this point I've seen 282 features and 3 shorts. There are still 22 directors on this list by whom I've apparently seen nothing at all.

01/01/2012: At this point, with the list having expanded from 200 to 250, I've seen 424 features and 11 shorts. There are 30 directors on this list by whom I've apparently seen nothing at all.
