Just to let you know that you have Eugina twice. Also "CJ Bolland - Ravesignal III (Horsepower) [Original or Exclusive Remix]" is not trance, it is pure Techno.

This is also my favorite period in trance music. I find that trance was interesting and diverse at that time, nowadays is kind of... well, different.
I think there's a lot more money in trance now than it was back then. DJs like Tiesto or Paul Van Dyk are big stars, so trance became big business.
Here's another thought: Trance was never respected by the media and the critics. They always said it's just a little trend and it will soon be over. Trance now lasts for about 20 years and it became one of the most played genres around the world.

I think it will go down as a great period in music although only a small select few appreciated it at the time.
