Author Comments:
These are the current LMC nominations. Please limit yourself to three nominees. I have put the nominator in parentheses for interest's sake. If you don't know what the LMC is take a look at the LMC: Home article.

OK, here are my three nominees...
The Color Purple (1985)
Festen (1998) (aka The Celebration)
Beautiful People (1999)
Ok I nominate 1)Blood Simple 2)Requiem for a dream 3)Once were Warriors
I'll nominate Last Tango In paris, Night Of The Cabiria, and Silent Running.
I just read barton Fink and taxi Driver discussions. I'm surprised at two things. One, only one person commented on Barton Fink. Two, on Taxi Driver you only put down (aside from the stars) the writer and director. On barton Fink you credit original score, Editing for god's sake and cinematography. No big deal, I'm just a little sad.
> only one person commented on Barton Fink.
What is suprising about that? I didn't watch it because it's my least favorite Coen brother's film. Interest in LMC was waning. I'm guessing you voted for it and didn't post a comment either.
> Two
What does it matter who I credit? I looked at the list put down any notable names to get people interested in seeing the movie and left it at that.
It's too bad this idea didn't take off. Might be worth trying again if traffic increases, now that it's easier to post content to the home page in association with a particular list.
You Must be mad at me or something, because lately I've noticed a shortness with you towards me. Sorry.
Hey, Jeff. I'm not mad at you. How can I be mad at you?
However, I've noticed you have a tendency to post reactions to lists but not the reasoning leading up to these reactions.
As far as your previous comments go it appears you are suprised about something but I don't know exactly what.
I actually finally got around to watching Barton Fink. Oddly, I'd entirely forgotten about this concept since it's been so long.
