dgeiser13, let me once again thank you for posting these award lists. I seem to have difficulty keeping up with these nowadays, and your lists ensure I don't fall too far behind!

I'm surprised that it seems that Far from Heaven is a love it or not type of film. It tops many lists, and is oddly absent from others with (IMHO) lesser films such as About a Boy (I'm thinking the AFI top ten here) or Insomnia (above). Both of those films are good, but ah, Far from Heaven.

Hey, L. I started to post a lot more of the awards and then realized then I didn't feel like getting into recreating lists that others are doing better than I would. So far the time being I'm just going to be posting those which I can't find elsewhere and I might start posting a weekly synopsis to the front page. The best resource I've found to keep on top of the awards and top 10 lists for a given year is Alex Fung's Film Page. Check it out if you get a chance!

I can understand your thoughts. I've started several projects here at Listology that I later abandoned either because of time, forgetfulness, or (often) the nagging feeling that it was done (usually better) elsewhere.
