- "10 Things I Hate About You" (1999) - I have always really liked this movie. It hasn't got the best acting and by no means is a cinematic acheivement, but its witty and fun and has good music. It's not exactly like all the other teen movies out there and that's why I like it. I will watch this whenever and can quote pretty much the entire thing as I do, and most of all I'm okay with that.
- "Rent" (2005) - I've always enjoyed a good musical, but there was no other that I watched at least part of everyday for months after the DVD came out. They had almost the entire original Broadway cast and the replacements fit in excellently. And something about the cinematography I really liked.
- "Beauty and the Beast" (1991) - I grew up on Disney animated movies, and while my sister claims The Little Mermaid to be the pinnacle of our childhoods I have always considered this to be my favorite and still enjoy it as a college student. Perhaps its the book reading brunette heroine, or the catchy tunes, but I don't believe I could like any animated movie better. Plus the Academy nominated it for Best Picture, so you can't deny it was a good one.
- "Donnie Darko" (2001) - I saw this because I had heard it talked of a lot when it was rereleased as the Director's Cut. I fell in love with it because of the amazing imagery, the cinematography is really fantastic. I'm just in awe of the colors and speed variations and how they play so well into the plot of the film.
- "Rushmore" (1998) - This film made me really like Wes Anderson. I love the color, the compositions of the frame, the soundtrack and especially the dialogue. I can't think of any other movie where lines can seem so ridiculous and so important at the same time, like when Max tells Blume that the secret to happiness is finding something you love to do and doing it for the rest of your life and for him its going to school at Rushmore.
- "Love Actually" (2003) - I'm not usually a fan of romatic comedies, but this is one of two I would consider a fav. I think its the amount of characters in the movie and the variation of situations they all go through, and of course how they all intertwine. Plus its got a great message: that no matter how crappy the world seems to be there's love everywhere and for everyone.
- "Stardust" (2007) - All I remember from when it came out was people on Reelz claiming it to be sort of under-the-radar, but pretty good; and I expected it to be kinda overrated. Boy was I wrong. Aside from some so-so greenscreen stuff and Claire Dane's dye job bothering me it was pretty solid. Great acting, writing, and story. Classic fantasy, but with enough new to keep it interesting.

In no particular order. Some I would consider a very favorite and some I just really enjoy watching again and again though I don't usually list it as a favorite. I've included why I consider it a favorite or why I like it. I'll be adding movies as I think of them, again in no particular order.
