- Alright, there are some bad songs, songs I hate, annoying songs, stupid lyrics, uncomprehensible lyrics, but no song is worse than the one I heard the other day. That's right, as many songs on the below list as there are that I can't stand, this new addition takes first place as the worst song ever. And tha winnah is...

Interesting to get another teenagers opinion on this topic. I've tried to protect my 19 year old daughter and 15 year old son from this kind of stuff , but as you probably can attest, some of this crap still slips through via the radio. ;^) Great job so far.
Darn spencer, you put one of my favorite songs on here. Explain why you think "Come on Eileen" - Dexy's Midnight Runners, should be on here
It's not as bad as most, I admit, but I still think it's very dull and I don't like it. I know a lot of people do, but I don't get anything from it. It's not that I have to get something from every song (thought it wouldn't be bad), but it's unenjoyable for me. Cheers.
I once saw an interview with Ringo Starr where he mentioned "Come On Eileen" as being one of his favorite songs. That's when I knew there had to be someone other than myself that hated this song. I think it was the squeeze box. Sorry Ringo.
You're confused. Come On Eileen is a classic song; Squeeze Box, by the Who, is the terrible song.
:)
Shalom, y'all!

Ah, everybody's got a little bad taste in 'em I guess. ~;^) ~ lol ~ Squeeze Box was a stinker though.
Squeeze Box was easily the worst song the Who ever recorded when Keith Moon was alive.
C'mon...
Sweet Home Alabama???
Aint't Seen Nothin' Yet???
Inconceivable!
"You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" is a complete rip-off of the Who... From the Baba O'Reilly riffs to the My Generation stuttering.
Actually, "Take My Breath Away" was by Berlin. I heard that that song wasn't one of their favorites, even though it became one the of most popular, due mostly to Top Gun. I like "The Metro" and "Masquerade" better.
Oh man, Mickey is a cool song, there are other songs in the list that i like.
But but but...I like Cum on feel the noize!
It wins the funniest spelling of a title award.
A few glaring errors:
"I Love the Night Life" is NOT by Gloria Gaynor. It is by Alicia Bridges.
"Ain't No Mountian High Enough" is NOT by the Supremes. It is Diana Ross solo.
Note:
"Hot in Herre" is the title of that Nelly tune.
"I Will Always Love You" and "Cum Feel the Noize" are cover versions. The originals were by 1. Dolly Parton (she wrote it) and 2. Slade (they were HUGE in the UK).
There is a recent R&B (?) tune called "Lonely" which incorporates Bobby Vinton's "Mr Lonely" into the chorus only it sounds like it is being sung by Alvin and the Chipmunks.
I hope no one else ever has to hear this song; butIF you do, I'm sure you'll agree it belongs on the list.
That "Lonely" song is now a ringtone for your mobile. The first person in my office who puts that one their phone gets clocked. That's a promise.
Thanks very much for the corrections. I haven't heard the song you're talking about and that's probably fortunate.
(*Gouges out eardrums at thought of "Lonely" song)
Even it's biggest fans admit it's an unbelievably annoying song.
I also recommend "Tiny Bubbles" by Don Ho, "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Michael Bolton, "Oops, I did it Again" by Britney Spears, and "Perfect" by Simple Plan.
May I humbly submit "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle?
