_Worst Films I've Ever Seen

  • 1. I've Been Waiting For You (1998) - It's a 'Horror' film, but that's because it wouldn't really qualify under any other genre. Guess how the people in the film die...from being SCARED to death. I solemnly wish I'd never taken the time to watch this lousy film. It was based on a novel by the same author that wrote 'I know what you did last summer', but was much less successful, and I'm not surprised.
  • 2. Python (2001) - A ripoff of Anaconda, and it sucked. It wasn't just the movie itself I didn't like, but the back cover, and I'll tell you why. Yeah, I know, it might not be a big deal, but this really bugged me: on the back it said "and it's up to Special Agent Parker (Casper van Dien) to confront the beast in a one-on-one deathmatch"...umm...that guy dies halfway through the movie. He doesn't even do anything. Also, when you look at the list of major actors on the bottom, it lists Jenny McCarthy first. She was only in the movie for FIVE minutes. How did they screw that up?
  • 3. Dragonheart: A New Beginning (2001) - 'A New Beginning' is one of the most over-used sequel titles ever. As for the movie, it's a watered-down version of the first. Personally, I liked the first Dragonheart, but hated this one.
  • 4. Simon Sez (1999) - Picture this: NBA star Dennis Rodman in the starring role of an action film. Dane Cook is his idiot sidekick. The story wasn't original, or exciting.
  • 5. Leave it to Beaver (1997) - They took an old TV series and tried to make a family film. That's good and all, but the film kind of fell short of the show. Didn't really have anything in common with the series.
  • 6. Jack & the Beanstalk: The Real Story (2001) - The movie would've been more bearable if it wasn't three hours long. They tried to make a complex and intriguing story line from a classic tale, but it got waaay too weird.
  • 7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 (1992) - I liked the first two, but hated this one. It's just a 90minute stereotype of Japanese culture. It makes no historical sense. The ninja turtles belong in the city, fighting the classic villains of their, not 15th century Japan (or sometime around there). Dumb idea.
  • 8. Godzilla (1998) - The story line pretty much blew. Why can't directors leave classic films alone? I'll summarize the story in one sentence: Godzilla comes to the city to nest, and the army tries to stop the beast. How interesting...
  • 9. Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End (2007) - They should've stopped with the first. The third was just a big jumble of story-lines mushed together into pablum. It was impossible to follow, and really not worth the effort.
  • 10. The Black Hole (2005) - So, the electrical grid develops into a black hole, and anything they try to do only feeds it. I've always wondered: Why don't they just shut off the grid? Problem solved.

Some movies that I wish I'd never seen. I don't recommend you see them either. Please post if you agree or disagree...

Definitely agree with Godzilla. That might just be THE worst movie I've ever seen.
