- Running Scared . Spoiler: Highlight to viewEither leave him dead or be a little more tactful and creative about him being still alive
- Suspicion. This one wasnt Hitchcock's fault. Spoiler: Highlight to viewHe originally wanted to stick with Cary Grant being the baddie that we were led to believe that he was throughout the entire film. The original intention was for him to poison her milk. BUT instead the studio insists on a happy fluffy bunny ending and they walk off into the sunset.
- Identity
- Angel Heart . In its case, Alan Parker actually later admitted that he wished he hadna .Spoiler: Highlight to viewmade the grandson's eyes glow red. He admitted that it was pretty cheesy after such a dead serious film.
- A.I. Do I even need to explain myself here? Damn Spielberg to hell for taking Kubrick's vision and ruining it. And damn him again for casting Frances O Connor!! She's one of the worst actresses ever!!
- Se7en Maybe Im just being WAY too nitpicky here, but I think at the end, they broke the rules. . Anyone else agree?Spoiler: Highlight to viewThe point was John Doe was killing people for THEIR sins. With that said, then why would John Doe have killed Gwyneth's character? SHE didnt sin. Why would Brad Pitt killing John Doe be the Wrath killing if it was John Doe who was guilty of the Envy sin? To me, it should have been John Doe visiting Gwyneth and having the info to prove it to Brad, but not actually having killed her so thats Envy. Brad kills John Doe because he thinks he killed his wife, but in reality he is killing the Envy victim and Morgan Freeman runs to him instead to tell him that she ISNT dead, but before he can reach him, he kills himself thereby killing the Wrath victim.

I cant really say that any of these films were completely ruined by any of their endings, but its definitely a HUGE detractor in my overall view of the film as a whole. My favorite film on here, Angel Heart, which is in my top 10 films of all time, even has a no-no at the end.

I agree with you about A.I. It's a shame, because, as cliché as it is, I'm a fan of Spielberg. But he did screw it up.
Interesting take on Se7en. Never thought about it like that.
Thank you. Did it make sense? After I re-read it, I thought maybe someone reading it for the first time might get confused as to what I was trying to convey.
It definitely makes sense, even though it's been a few years since I've seen the movie.
