*** -Armani Exchange obviously sells the designs of Giorgio Armani, but has more of an adolescent vibe to it. Not as classy and formal. More edgy and trendy to wear as casual. Although the prices would make you never utter the word casual.
An explanation on my dislikes...
These following stores:
- Abercrombie & Fitch
- Aeropostale
- Hollister
- Tommie Bahama
- Tommy Hilfiger (Most of the work I've seen done by the designer, at least)
All the above listed are incredibly popular makes, but to my personal viewpoint all focus on a supreme being crowd. The royalty of popularity. And you MUST be gorgeous. The ads consist of half naked screen shots. For gods sake... this seasons Abercrombie ad campaign consists of just a man's bare chest. So what do I see come out of this? Fat pale people wearing it... everywhere. Oh well, at least its an ego boost... right?
These following stores:
- Pacsun
- Zumiez
Thrusting out brands such as:
- Billabong
- Element
- Fox
- Hurley
- Roxy
- Spitfire
- Volcom
Again, to a common person's eye there shouldn't be anything wrong with these brands. And there isn't. But the whole Pacsun/Zumiez universe sort of revolves around skaters/skating/daredevil sports/perhaps even hardcore fans of Jack-ass or something. I never got into the whole skating thing... and everytime I put something on of this calibur I feel as if I'm blasphemizing. Although I totally contradict myself here... due to the fact that I work alot of girls accessories into my daily outfits... which could also count as an even BIGGER blasphemy to something or other. But I don't know- it's a personal standpoint. I'm not saying everyone should feel awkward if they're not punk shit and they walk into these stores. It's just my queer ass that does.
And Ralph Lauren/Calvin Klein? Must I feel like I've already retired? My best friend wears Ralph Lauren religiously. Perhaps he sucked all that kind of energy out of me.

Urgh I can't stand A&F!! I totally agree with you about it, and it's all worn (where I live anyway) by really preppy annoyin teens who's father owns five boats and a mansion or two. In shrek, the "Prince Charming" character really reminds me of the kind of people who wear A&F, well, guys anyway.
LMAO!!! Blind that's genius. I will forever, from this moment on, remember your connection between Shrek's Prince Charming and A&F.
That graced my day.
lol glad you liked it! =D
