How's "The Little Friend" so far? Time magazine and the New York Times have been raving about it. I've been dying to read Donna Tartt's newest, and "The Secret History" is probably the best quasi-mystery novel I've read in some time.
The Little Friend is a little wordy, with a not to believeable storyline. I'm about half through now and will keep reading, hoping it will get better. Book magazine raved about it too, rating it one of the top ten novels of 2002.
