Author Comments:
Somehow the Replacements' "Bastards of Young" got stuck in my head at work, and I remembered the story (and the brief clip aired three years ago) of how, compelled by their label to produce a video, the 'Mats submitted a single shot of a stereo speaker. For three minutes and thirty five seconds. So I looked for this list, which I haven't seen since MTV aired it in 1999, although I haven't really been looking too hard. Soon I'm gonna label the ones I've seen in their entirety. Just to show how many commercials the record labels have passed through my eyes in the guise of low/high/medium 'art'.

greetings all,
I am looking to identify an old mtv video made around 1984 1985. It features a male artist who is phasing in and out of radio transmission towers while singing...
" wouldn't it be nice if we stayed together, raised a family of our own you and me"
that's all I can remember of it. please help!
