Thanks for the tip. I've seen Scrubs once or twice and enjoyed it, though I've never really been a fan. But I'll check it out, cheers!
(Oh, and I get up at 6... I'm an early riser =D)
Man, Saved By The Bell!!
"When I wake up in the morning
And the alarm gives out a warning
And I don't think I ever make it on time (Bum Da Dum!)"
Maann do i remember that early 90s gem of early morning kids tv..dang. Thing is though it always seemed to be that there were like only 3 different classes of people:
The Jocks (AC Slater)
The cool Kid (Zach)
The Geeks (Screech)
and that was it, geeks, sporty people and cool kids that was it. though i did like it when i was younger, great show. oh where was i..
"By the time I grab my books
And I give myself a look
I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by
It's alright 'coz I'm saved by the bell
If the teacher pops a test
I know I'm in a mess
And my dog ate all my homework last night
Right alone in my chair
She won't know that I'm there
If I can hand it in tomorrow it will be alright
It's alright 'coz I'm saved by the bell
It's alright 'coz I'm saved by the
It's alright 'coz I'm saved by the
It's alright 'coz I'm saved by the bell"
Dang! 90s in one song
Haha, yeah, the cheesiest, corniest and catchiest theme of the 90s, right there. Bad acting and big hairstyles, that show.. and I still love it :D
ooooohhhh it anoyed the hell out of me on Celeb Fit Club when they told that woman off the losing 5 pounds more than she was meant too. i say good for her lol she's allowed too, its not that much of a bad thing jeez!
(ok, just felt like a rant!) :)
Lol, yeah, I completely agree!
Some of the people on there this time are complete retards though - Lizzie Bardsley from Wife Swap?! Come on! :)
lol :) its so easy to be famous these days! Paul Ross Anoyyed me aswell, dunno why.
Dang Everybody loves raymond is cut :(
hey did you watch The Gambling epsidoe of the simpsons today? forgot how great that was.
"I don't want to alarm you but there maybe a boogeyman or boodymen in the house!"
"aaaahhh!"
pure class! that episode is great also i love it when that guy in the toilet says "Isosceles triangle, idiot!" :) man that was a great laugh, its good when an episode comes on that you forgot about. Also my 3rd favourite ever "Marge Be Not Proud" was on sky the other night, another great episode. just thought i'd mention these things, take care and goodbye
PS: Judge Judy is funny, she's worse than ann robbinson!
Tough choice of who to cut, but I still love Raymond!
Watched that episode yesterday on DVD, ironically! :) Genius episode. As is "Marge Be Not Proud" and tomorrow's C4 ep, Homer The Vigilante, very underrated IMO.
And yes, Judge Judy kicks some serious ass! :)
ps. Last week (half-term), I watched:
20 eps Malcolm In The Middle
22 eps South Park (Sky 1 had 4 eps on a every night)
16 eps Simpsons
15 eps Judge Judy (ITV2 air 3 eps a day)
10 eps Frasier
6 eps Futurama
6 eps Friends
6 eps Oliver Beene
2 eps Joey
plus Celeb Fit Club, 100 Greatest Tearjerkers.. far too much telly! :)
Man, Homer The Vigilante i love that one,thx for the tip. i watched alot of those south park's also, great stuff. did you like that one where kenny's spirit was in Cartman? (Rob Schneider is the stapler!) love it when that "sixth sense" guy is walking through his masion and the butler hits that button that rings out "now introducing.." and Crowd cheering everytime he walks through that door! also did you see the film festival one? that has my favourite quote of all south park episodes
[Kenny is kill and some guy picks up a penny]
Guy1 "oh my god i found a penny!"
Guy2: "you bastard!"
i was laughing the ages afterwards by far my favourite line! ok i'll try and see how many episodes i watched over half term..hhhm lets see.
3eps Malcolm in the Middle (The Abba Dance moment was amazing tv :)
6eps Simpsons
10eps South Park
3eps Frasier
15eps Everybody loves raymond
2eps Judge Judy
1ep Oliver Beene
3eps Joey
4eps Cheers
plus Celeb Fit Club (1) / 100 Greatest Tearjerkers
Just as much as me then. <:D
Refer to this for more accuarte TV faves, Rushmore! (+ everyone).
I might post everything I watch over the summer in the comments section here too, to keep discussion going with whoever bothers to read this.. :)
:) lol sorry to make you change a list! that wasn't my plan (or was it.. :)
Yeah i'm happy about scrubs. Season 2 DVD comes out on dvd in septemper. whats your views on it mate?
Scrubs is great, I catch it when I can, I'm really looking forward to S2 soon!
If you like Malcolm, Scrubs, and The Simpsons, you should check out Arrested Development. Honestly, it's the funniest show I've seen in years.
Thanks for the recommendation! You're not the first to suggest it to me, so I'll definitely check it out - I might ask for the S1 set for Christmas..
Got around to buying Arrested Development S1 - it's brilliant!
You should check out Smallville. It's a great show.
Thanks for the recommendation also! I've heard unanimously good things, again, so I'll definitely try to catch it on TV or DVD.
Another recommendation for you, in the vein of Arrested or Malcolm - new this season, too: My Name is Earl on NBC Tuesday nights. I am loving this show!
Cool, thanks! I'll try downloading the pilot. It seems to be quite popular..
Looks like it starts here this Friday..I'm eagerly awaiting it!
yay scrubs made it too #1. i posted a reply to your comment about "my screwup" on my page. oh, i also think one of the reasons season 3 is so good is the character of Shaun. do you like the character ?
Didn't see this, sorry.. anyways, yep, he's a great character!
I've left a response to your question Here
Yes!
Glad to see some Taylor support on American Idol. It's my guiltiest guilty pleasure, and I absolutely love Taylor Hicks! He's fantastic.
Yeah, Taylor's freakin' awesome! What a great singer. I really hope he wins (I like Kellie too, but I'm not entirely sure that's for all the right reasons!)
Have you ever seen Bones? It's one of my favorite new shows. David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel are in it.
Nope, I'm afraid I haven't seen that. But I'll do my best to seek it out.
Very nice list.
Very interesting to see Doctor Who on your list...what made you give it a chance, might I ask?
Well, it was very popular at this Frasier forum I go to, so I decided to give it a few tries. It took a couple of episodes, but I very much like it now and I wish I'd given it a chance before, although it is still a bit hit-and-miss.
I don't watch any other show of your list than "The Big Bang Theory" - but tomorrow I'll finish the 1st season. Unfortunately the 2nd season will be released in October - so I've to survive tough 6 weeks or so. I really love that show, but not only Penny (Kaley is sooooo cute and sooooo beautiful) and Leonard, also Sheldon is great. And when Raj and Howard got more screentime, I could really laugh a lot with them, great cast, hilarious show, my current favorit (with this I mean: this is a currently on tv running show that I am watching, the rest are older shows from dvds).
