TV Series that got cancelled too soon
- (1) Kindred: The Embraced
- (2) American Gothic
- (3) Cupid
- (4) Legacy
There are some series that seem to go on forever even though their best days are behind them (i.e. The Simpsons, X-Files, Married with Children, Cheers) and then there are ones that get the plug pulled before they can truly hit their stride. Why? Sometimes they are scheduled at a bad time on a bad day. Other times the word of mouth simply doesn't spread fast enough. Either way, it's a shame that these shows never got a chance to show us just how good they could become.
1. Vampire show about clans of vampires. Wicked stuff but only had six episodes.
2. Show about a small town with a sheriff that is one BAD dude, more a force of nature than your typical red-neck law man. WOW.
3. This show touched the romantic in me-sue me.
4. Not the horror series called "Poltergeist" for some reason. Wonderful clothes, set in Kentucky in the 1880's. It was a good show to watch.

Did you ever catch any of Maximum Bob's 6(?) episodes? Truly hysterical.
I too miss Cupid. For nostalgia, go here and read over (or even download) all the good quotes.
I saw a couple of the episodes of that series. Bridges truly shined. Unfortunately the show strayed too much from the Elmore Leonard novel for my taste, but it did make me chuckle.
Cupid rocks forever! Thanks for the link.
Kindred was so deliciously wicked, and so sexy. I was sad to see that one go, too.
Yah, everyone that I know that has seen it liked it. What were they thinking?
A friend asked me to tape the last episode of American Gothic for him--I'm not too much of a TV person, but I really enjoyed it and would have watched if it wasn't cancelled. My list would be mainly Twin Peaks, Millenium, and Nothing's Sacred. Twin Peaks mostly ;)
