hey man,
i just bought massive attack's mezzanine. i am blown away by the use of guitar on the record! it is probably the best "trippy guitar" i've heard! does blue lines have any guitar on it???
I don't really remember much guitar on Blue Lines, but I also haven't listened to it in awhile. I think Mezzanine is definitely more of a "post-trip hop" type of album. Massive Attack seems to be trying to grow beyond the "trip hop" label that they and Tricky hate so much. I'd like to hear more of Mezzanine.
Good to know when it's coming out. I'd heard that he was signed to an American label now, and that his new album might play around with more hip-hop beats than his past albums have. I'm looking forward to it...
