I was thinking of picking up Banhart's CD. We'll see...unless someone nice wants to make me a copy and send it to me...
;)
Check put The Walkmen's "Bows and Arrows" if you get a chance.
I heard Coldplay has a new album coming this year, I'm so excited. I don't care if their music doesn't progress constantly or that they are more pop-oriented than most of my tastes, their music is beautiful.
I am certain that this list will change by year's end to reflect the new Coldplay, Interpol, Bjork and Beck albums... I'm very excited for the things still to come :)
Devendra Banhart's album is pure gold.
How is The Futureheads? I'm hearing mixed reviews.
Antics was very dissapointing for me. I loved Turn on the Bright Lights, but Antics...it's just not the same or even as thrilling.
The Arcade Fire, on the other hand, is wonderful.
I really loved Antics... while it's not as fantastic as Turn on the Bright Lights, I feel that it's much more accessible. It's less dense and Paul Bank's voice has just become incredible... it's a great step forward for the band.
Score another fan for The Go! Team!
Shalom, y'all!
