What are some of your favorites?
I liked Avengers Forever. And while short compared to these others, JLA: The Nail was pretty good. Though I haven't read all of it because it was before I got into them, I would have to say that the X-Men: Phoenix Saga has to be near the top. Another I would list: X-Men: The Brood Saga, though I do agree with both Earth X and Kingdom Come.
JLA: The Nail and X-Men: The Phoenix Saga are great ones. There are so many to chose from.
I'd cast a vote for Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller (not that I have a vote :-).
Kingdom Come and ofcourse Watchmen were fantastic... cant say about the rest... something to checkout.
