I think my favorite American ice cream might well be Ben & Jerry's From Russia with Buzz, a blend of White Russian with Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz. I am not sure if they still make it or not, though...

Friendly's makes a great flavor that sadly isn't in their perennial stable, but it's called "Velvet Praline Crunch" and it's frabjous.

Indeed! It may be my favorite specialty flavor, and I never would have guessed Friendly's would be the one to produce it.

You're in Florida, right? No guarantee they promote the same flavors nationwide, but up here they just finished promoting Velvent Praline Crunch (although they still have some left) and are now on to Hazel n' Joe (my wife loves both flavors).
