Top 5 Actor and Actress

  • Edward Norton- I have yet to come across a movie with Ed in it that wasnt great. He is versatile, and has a great resume of movies including Fight Club, American History X, Death to Smoochy, and Down in the Valley.
  • Val Kilmer- Top Gun for those 80's fans, then Batman Forever, The Saint, Tombstone, and Spartan for general good movie fans. Val kicks ass in everything he's in.
  • Liam Nieson- Schindler's List is one of my all-time favorite movies, and the earliest Neeson film I have seen. But it, along with Phantom Menace, K-19, Gangs of New York, Love Actully, and Kingdom of Heaven are all great movies.
  • Justin Long- I love comedies. I love the way Justin Long acts. Galaxy Quest, Accepted, Waiting, Dodgeball, etc. all amazing comedies, all have Justin Long.
  • Christian Bale- I am unsure of whether or not I actually like Chirstian Bale, or just some of his movies. Equilibrium, Machinist, and Reign of Fire were all cool, but I didnt like Batman or the Prestige. So Bale is on the edge of my list.
  • I also love Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, and Jack Nicholson, but I figure I shouldnt have to list the reasoning, they are all fantastic actors with long, accomplished careers.
  • ACTRESSES:
  • Alyson Hannigan- Not only do I think she is beautiful, but her performances in Buffy and American Pie were great. Only topped by 'How I Met Your Mother', one of my all-time favorite TV shows. I even forgave her for doing Date Movie, which was indeed crap.
  • Eliza Dushku- Another Buffy vet, she branched into another direction of movies, usually playing a 'bad girl' character. Beautiful, talented, experienced; she's on my list for a reason.
  • Evan Rachel Wood- After I saw Pretty Persuasion I immediatly went out and saw Running with Scissors and Down in the Valley(co-star with Ed Norton, Bonus!). Wood is strangly mesmerizing in all of her movies, and is able of playing even the more difficult(albeit mostly similar) characters.
  • Natalie Portman- Phantom Menace, Where the Heart Is, Garden State, and V for Vendetta. Portman is an amazingly talented actress. Duh she made my list.
  • My fifth actress was a bit more difficult thn I originally thougt
  • Jessica Alba(tie)- I liked Dark Angel, and Sin City and Fantastic Four are no-brainers. I just dont see a whole lot more coming from Alba.
  • Scarlett Johansson(tie)-I absolutely loved her in The Island. She has an established Independant career which I like, but other than that Im not a huge fan of her. These two tied, I just couldnt make up my mind.

Just me listing my favorite actors. Mostly new actors, as I'm from a younger genertion. :)
