As usual, I'm dumfounded by the inclusion of Vertigo on these lists, when Rear Window is so clearly superior in my mind :-)

The critic Barry Norman was always surprised by Vertigo doing so well in polls, too. It seems to now be the main challenger to Kane in critics' polls. I love its sensual mystery. (Rear Window is great too of course).
