I can't tell you how happy I am to see Lost Highway on this list--I believe it is easily one of the most underrated films of the decade. I also see a lot else to like here--Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Rushmore, and Dazed and Confused jump out at me.

I'm not a big fan of Fight Club; personally, I think Seven is quite a bit better.

Have you seen JFK? Get beyond the controversy of whether it's distorted history (it is), and you'll find an absolute juggernaut of skillful editing and enthralling storytelling. The movie is so kinetic partly because it has something like three or four times as many shots and edits as the average film...Stone was definitely on top of his game.

I totally agree with you on Lost Highway. I feel like a lot of people disregard it because it is so confusing but once you figure it out it is such a beautiful film.

I actually agree with you in that Seven is probably a better film but from a personal stand point I absolutely love Fight Club. First off all I am a huge Chuck Palahuniak fan and second of all I love Edward Norton. It is just my personal preference.

I actually have not seen JFK. I have been meaning to for the longest time and I have it saved on my DVR, I just haven't sat down and watched it.
