- 1. Duncan Edwards. Surely would have been one if not the greatest player of all time had it not beenfor the Munich air disaster that claimed the lives of so many great players.
- 2. George Best. A true legend of sport, who brought the game into a new era of glamour and set the world alight with his remarkable on the ball skills.
- 3. Bobby Charlton. A stark contrast to Bestey but compliment him so well, his vision in the center of the park was his greatest asset and his sight for goal was and is unrivaled even to this day by a Manchester United player.
- 4. Peter Schmeichel. A true legend in goal. Had it not been for his reassuring presence United may not have had the success of dominating english football for the last decade.
- 5. Bryan Robson. Gave United the platform on which to build and footballing force with his grit and determination as captain.
- 6. Eric Cantona. My personal fave of all time. Led by example and had arrogance that opponents could not help but fear.
- 7. Billy Meridith. Probably the games first superstar and the first to really go and take it past other players. he joined United from City and quickly became a firm favourite with the fans.
- 8. Roy Keane. A true great with the drive of a steam-roller. inspired United in the finest season with a display against Juventus that will go down in history as one of the greatest individual performances of all time.
- 9. Steve Bruce. A brick wall at the back with the presence of the Roman Army.
- 10. Dennis Law. One of the greatest strikers to have grace the club.
