I haven't seen Killer's Kiss nor Barry Lyndon. Kubrick only made 12 films, but he was perhaps the greatest filmmaker of all time. Thus a list of his movies.

Yes, my first thought on seeing the title of this list was "What will be left out?" rather than "What will be included?"

One of the things that added greatly to the effectiveness of Kubrick's films was his uncanny ability to choose the right music for them - and most of it didn't have to be commissioned, it was already available.

BARRY LYNDON is long and slow, but a feast for the eyes and ears - and it has a sort of mesmerising effect that (surprisingly, in hindsight) suits and complements its tragic ending. Ryan O'Neil was perfectly cast for it, too.

I greatly respect your lists and your remarks, and I will definitely check out Barry Lyndon.
