- 1. Paul & Jan Crouch (PRAISE THE LORD!)

- 3. Robert "paranoid" Tilton
- 4. Rod Parsley (Best of the Screaming Preachers)
- 5. Oral Roberts
- 6. Jesse Duplantis (a real joker)
- 7. Kenneth Copeland
- 8. Jim Baker
- 9. Jimmy Swaggart ("i have sinned")
- 10. MC Hammer?!? (have you seen TBN lately?)

The Crouchs and Hinn might be flip-flopped on my list, but overall I like your way of thinking. Tilton wouldn't be such a distant third if only hadn't gotten busted and run out of Dallas on a rail a few years back.
What about your San Antonio hometown fave, John Hagee? He's been a pillar of the Alamo City for years!
Johnny Waco
The Crouchs and Hinn run a very close race for first on my list. Haggee is a good suggestion, but in all honesty he's peanuts compared to faith healers like Hinn and Parsley. I felt that my list wouldn't be complete without Swaggert and Baker; however, I almost excluded them because I feel they're apologies were too sincere.
Thanks for recognizing a great list! (LOL)

I'd be interested in knowing what cities these guys are based out of; is the phenomenon of the televangelist a Southern and West Coast thing mainly, or can you find them up north too?
Johnny Waco
Johnny, as a man who has travelled most of this country and has called New England home most of his life, I can say Evangelism is definitely a southern/Western thing. Though pockets of the Midwest has their share. Dont find many up my way. Of course since me and organized religion have agreed to disagree, I could be oblivious.
its nice to see people finally responding to my TV Egangelists list. Do ya'll have any suggestions for additions??
Mike, I'm disturbed in so many ways, but I can't simply vent my queasiness at your list of telemarketers (oops) I mean televangelists without adding a little something to the cause. You gots to know Mr. T can't be denied to a place on the list. I pity the fool who doesn't put Mr.T on their list.
Did Hinn's exceedingly bad combover add or subtract from his standing on the list? I would think that, as far as TV Evangelists go, it could only enhance his stature. I mean, if he can make his hair do *that* (with some devine intervention, presumably), just imagine what he could do for you...or your hair, specifically.
