Top 10 Creature Features

- The movies on this list are all movies that have creatures in them, whether they be from another world or from our own home planet. These movies are in order of how cool the creatures are (so there's probably not going to be many earth-bound creatures movies, if any). And no, I'm not going to give all 10 spots to Jurassic Park. After the title will be the main creatures that are featured in parentheses.

This year, the list most likely will change with Jurassic Park III and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone coming out. And next year, we've got even more creature features....
Okay.... I goofed up and forgot some creature features. I'd like some help: Are the Gremlins from Gremlins 2: The New Batch cooler than anything on the list? Is Godzilla from the 1998 version of Godzilla cooler than anything on the list? Thanks!
i have to say the gremlins (and gizmo!) are way cool... maybe you could only list one of the jurassic parks? i'm not that big of a dinosaur fan myself, but i thought i'd put my vote in. :)
While I guiltily enjoyed Godzilla, I'm sure you'll catch some flak for suggesting it might be in the running for "coolest creature." :-) And the aliens in Independence Day were a bit too derivative for me (and they can be knocked out with one punch from Will Smith). I'd certainly think the Jurassic Park dinosaurs would make the cut on most "coolest creatures" lists, though.
That said, some suggestions: The T-1000 from Terminator 2, the aliens from the various Alien movies, the thing from Carpenter's The Thing, the predator from Predator, "Rock" from Galaxy Quest, the water tentacle from The Abyss (or the aliens), the bugs from Starship Troopers, the evil robot from Robocop 2, and the shark in Jaws.
Geez! I can't believe that I forgot so many movie creatures. I will now officially put the Gremlins and Gizmo on the list. I'll think about Godzilla and the things you told me about, Jim. Thanks to the both of you!
