runners-up

Spider-Man (Sam Raimi, 2002)
The Departed (Martin Scorsese, 2006)
Finding Nemo (Andrew Stanton, 2003)

Ok list, but I would include District B13 as one of the top action films of the 00s.

Also, you have as a runner up The Departed, but you do not include the movie that it was a remake of:

Infernal Affairs (d. by Wai-Keung Lau and Sui Fai Mak, 2002)

which was a far superior film to that Scorsese piece of trash - imo

Well, I haven't seen either of those movies, which may explain their absence. I've been wanting to see Infernal Affairs since it came out, but I just never got around to it.

I am actually terribly behind on my film viewings. The past few years haven't been as kind to my free time. But I'm back at school, and I'm doing film studies, so I've been able to get back on track.

I'll try to see both, and then I'll let you know what I think.

Much love for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. That's probably my favorite film of any genre for the decade.

It's utterly fantastic.
