- Chemistry Between the Actors, and Interesting Relationships Between the Characters- Everytime I watch it, I really enjoy watching the way the characters interact with each other. It's funny, and believable and the relationships are so quirky that it's interesting to watch.
- Tongue in Cheek Sense of Humour- You got the sense watching it that the show knew that it wasn't Shakespeare... it knew it was cheesy that no one ever got hurt. It relished the hokey montage every episode where the team builds an armored car or an entire airplane out of something that's lying around. It took joy in Murdock's invisible dog, and the way Mr. T. growled. The show didn't try to be anything other than escapist fun.
- Actors Who Were In On The Joke- George Peppard was brilliant. He knew how to joyfully deliver horribly campy lines with a twinkle in his eye. Dirk Benedict was really charming and seemed to understand the shallowness of his character, but could still make you sympathize with him. And Dwight Schultz is a gifted actor who can play crazy better than anybody. All of the actors knew it wasn't method acting... you could tell they were just having a great time with their roles.

I read somewhere that they were maybe going to do a new A-Team series, similar to what they did with Battlestar Galactica, sort of restarting the show for a new generation. It could be really good, if they keep in mind what was great about the original show and build on it. More like the Charlie's Angels movie, less like Lost in Space.
There are more elements, but these are the first three that came to mind.

Mr.T he was so cool, I PITY THE FOOL!! :()
