Things I Wanted to Say But Didn't Know Where To

- The Problem of Evil - The reason that there is never a fully satisfying answer to "why is there evil?" is that there can be no good answer to that question. God really doesn't understand why people choose to do evil over good. Bad circumstances alone did not create the Nazis.
- Nazis - Nazis come in many forms, and whenever they arise, Jewish persecution is always in the air.
- Mercy - Mercy isn't justice, but it is a quality that expresses God's love. It isn't always appropriate (see above), but it is always welcome--by human beings. And that's the thing to understand about mercy: it is a human quality, meaning that it is made for humans. In a way, God is too perfect to be merciful. But if he wasn't merciful, no one could be saved.
- Love - Self-depreciation is an absolutely necessary part of falling in love. There is no shame in saying, "I'm not as good as this person, but I love them anyway."
- Grammar It's high time we all started using the singular "their." Enough with this "he/she" or (s)he business, or awkwardly trying to create a plural where it isn't needed.
- Submission I don't fully understand submission as it is described in the Bible, but I think it may be the key that unlock's feminism's true potential.

Because I disagree with Merlin, but I like the idea of this list.
