- 24: Season One - DVD ~ My girlfriend and I watched the whole 6 DVD series (thanks, Netflix!) in about a 2 1/2 week time period. It was a very addicting series and minus one silly and short lived plot twist it was an incredible, well-made 960-minute piece of faux-verite television. The 2nd season comes out in September and we can probably squeeze it in before Season 3 starts it's regular-season run but I'm inclined to not watch it on regular TV. It felt more satisfying in the compressed version then I'm guessing it would've with the week-long gaps between episodes. Plus I don't think I can risk missing an episode. :-)

- The Tavis Smiley Show - Radio Program ~ I don't get to listen to this show as nearly as much as I'd like, i.e. Every Day, but every time I'm making the nightly commute home and it's between 7 and 8pm, then Tavis is the one for me. More than anything I like the nice mix of topics which are covered by this show on a weekly basis. It's definitely not your mainstream radio fare but it's also a standout in comparison to its NPR brethren. Almost every time I listen to this show I'll hear at least one new topic or perspective on a topic which I've never considered before. [Added:?; Removed: 05/05/2004]
