Wow, I think you love Listology even more than I do!

Say, how are star ratings based? # of posts? # of endorsements?

lol search me mate, i really dont know. it might be how popular your posts are or how long youve been a member, but im just guessing :)

What I'm wondering is what causes one to move from the Newcomers to the Oldtimers side of the Hall of Fame. lukeprog, you're currently on both sides (?!?), yet all three of us showed up in June, right? Very interesting...

yeah i dont understand that system too, its strange!

Being an Oldtimer actually has nothing to do with how long you've been here. It is simply the 20 people with the highest star ratings of all-time. The Newcomer list was added to show the people who've been most active lately (or potential hall-of-famers someday).

ah i see, thanks

You, Jim and Dan are active quite frequently, though, and yet you're not on the 'newcomers' list...

Sorry. That wasn't clear. The newcomers list is ONLY for people who have joined Listology in the last three months (I believe that's the time limit). To get high up on the newcomers list, one has to be quite active within three months. That's what I meant by people who have been most active LATELY. As opposed to people who have been most active FOR A LONG TIME - they're on the old-timers list.

Ah, now it makes sense. Thanks.

I've been on a hiatus from Listology, due to an excessively busy schedule, but I've noticed the Netflix queues are gone. Am I missing something? I really enjoyed seeing what people were planning to rent.

Nope, they're still here (and here's the breakdown).
