- Galaxy Quest (1999) Could be a remake of ¡Three Amigos! (1986)In Galaxy Quest, The alumni cast of a cult space TV show have to play their roles as the real thing when an alien race needs their help and in ¡Three Amigos!, Three unemployed actors accept an invitation to a Mexican village to replay their bandit fighter roles, unaware that it is real thing.
- The Good Son (1993) could be a remake of The Bad Seed (1956)Both deal with an evil child, a girl in The Bad Seed and a boy in The Good Son.
- Phone Booth (2002) could be a remake of End of the Line (1996)In Phone Booth (2002) Stuart Shepard finds himself trapped in a phone booth, pinned down by an extortionist's sniper rifle, he's told by the sniper that if he hangs up the phone he will be shot. In End of the Line (1996) Jamie picks up a payphone on a New York Street corner. He's told that if he puts the phone down he will be shot by a sniper.
- The Hunted (2003) Could be a remake of First Blood (1982)In First Blood Sylvester Stallone is a Vietnam vet who's gone renegade and kills the people looking for him while hiding in the woods, the only person that can track him down and stop him is the man that trained him. In the Hunted Benecio Del Toro plays an ex-soldier who's gone renegade who kills while hiding in the woods, the only man that can track him down and stop him is the man that trained him.
- The Forgotten (2004) could be a remake of Bunny Lake Is Missing (1965)In Bunny Lake is missing a woman drops her daughter off at school and when she returns to pick up the child, she's not there. She spends the rest of the movie looking for her missing child, while everyone tries to convince her that the child never existed. In The Forgotten a woman's child dies, she talks about the child and has vivid memories of the child but her husband and everyone else that she knows tries to convince her that the child never existed. She becomes convinced that the child is still alive and spends the rest of the movie looking for her missing child, while everyone tries to convince her that the child never existed.
- The Cave (2005) could be a remake of The Descent (2005)In The Cave, Bloodthirsty creatures await a pack of divers who become trapped in an underwater cave network. and in The Descent, An all-female caving expedition goes horribly wrong, as the explorers become trapped and ultimately pursued by a strange breed of predators.
- Flightplan (2005) could be a remake of The Lady Vanishes (1938)or posiibly a remake of The Forgotten (2004) or Bunny Lake Is Missing (1965)In The Lady Vanishes a young woman travelling on a train befriends an old woman and when she falls asleep The old woman vanishes. After she wakes up, she's looking for the old woman and everyone she talks to says that she was never on the train or may not have existed at all. In Flightplan a woman travelling with her daughter falls asleep and while she's sleeping her daughter vanishes. After she wakes up, she's looking for he daughter and everyone she talks to says that she was never on the train or may not have existed at all. Flightplan could also be a remake of The Forgotten or Bunny Lake is Missing because both of those movies are about women whose children seem to vanish and everyone tries to tell them that the children never existed, change the location to an airplane and you have Flightplan.

I'll add more as I think of them, this is all I could come up with right now.








I love the idea of this list! There are loads of times I've thought this while watching a movie. Of course, I can't remember any of those times off the top of my head. I particularly like the Galaxy Quest/Three Amigos one, as it fits even though they're two films you wouldn't necessarily associate with one another.
Yes, there's alot more that I've seen that could be added, I just can't remember them all at the moment.
