Author Comments:
For each Listologist: his/her favourite movie (where I could find).
Thanks to lukeprog for his useful list!
Are there any mistakes? Have I forgotten you? Let me know.

great list! even better cause i made it... interesting to look at what everyone's number 1 is without getting bogged down by other selections.
If you are interested in adding me, my favorite film is 1994's Amateur, directed by Hal Hartley (and that certainly is not much of a secret round these parts...).
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
no it's not... i really need to see a hal hartley film
Hi, Mate just though i'd say that the impossible has happened..Royal Tenenbaums is no longer my favourite film, its now The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (Yes..Wes Anderson Again!). you don't have to change this list, but just though i'd say. Heres The Proof!
Hmmm...hmm... thanks for the information!
wow...really on top of things... i change my no. 1 one week and the next you got it.
Hmmm... you see? I always have a look at other listologist's favourite films. :-)
My favourite is Trainspotting.
Once Upon A Time In America. My top 100 is in the works.
Truly an excellent film and apparently you're not the only one to like it so much here.
I'm already looking forward to your top 100.
Ah yes, I think I remember your list. Thx and sorry that I had forgotten about that.
I have no idea what my favorite film is right now, otherwise I'd tell you.
No, no problem for that. I remember American Beauty being your favourite, but this has changed.
If... is my favorite film of all time
Added. I haven't yet seen, but I hope that this will change soon.
My favorite is Akira (original dubbed version)
And another film I haven't yet seen. Thanks!
If you'd like to add me, it's The Shawshank Redemption. :)
Jeez, sorry, Wezzo. Actually I knew about it, but I had just forgotten.
Heh, no problem!
you should do one of these kinds of lists for favorite music albums or bands sometime
Sure, sure, this would be an interesting idea. I'll keep it in mind. When I've got enough time, I'll try... Thanks.
A few listologists have two listed so if you'd like to add mine... Elmer Gantry, Bus Stop
Thx. Always nice to get such original choices.
I am not in your list and that's only fair cos I don't really have one absolutely favourite movie...
Hey, that's cool. But if you ever have one, let me know.
If ... and Taxi Driver would both be close to my favourite, as would Jesus Of Nazareth, and Truly Madly Deeply, but my favourite is probably 'The Outsiders'.
Hmmm... thanks. Glad to see Taxi Driver in your favourites!
Mine is Hideaki Anno's Shiki-Jitsu (Ritual). I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it the first time I saw it, but it has grown on me.
Did you check the list of people who've endorsed you? [stifles a sob]
OK, at the moment I'm a little slow and I don't really understand what you mean. So, just for me, could you explain what you meant? Please.
(Is it because you aren't included in this list? Honestly, I don't know your favourite movie, or I cannot remember it. I'm really sorry.) :)
Nothing to be sorry about. I was just self-promoting again. I can see I'll have to break that habit :-)
I didn't realise so many Listologists have actually stated what their one most favorite movie is. I thought you were mostly guesstimating.
Okay, if I had to name just one movie as my number one all time now-and-forever favorite. It would have to be in the science fiction genre. It would have to be.....Blade Runner.
I know that contradicts my Favorites By Genre list, but this is the latest me.
Btw, I'm beginning to think of you as The Grand Inquisitor :-)
No don't stop self-promoting. Like that you make me aware of lists/facts I'd otherwise oversee. And I don't think it's self-promoting.
1922, the Grand Inquisitor
P.S.: Big Brother is watching you!
I do self-promoting myself (see comments section).
I reckon there should be more of it at Listology. It would let more of us know what more of us think is worth seeing of ours.
Have you read my Philosophy of Listology ? And I'm about to add some new sections to it.
Oh, ok, I want to be in your list so much so let's just say I push aside all works from Hal Hartley, David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper or Stanley Kubrick or even Peter Jackson(oh, I can hear some listologists grinding their teeth for my daring include the Kube and Tobey Hoophoop in a list on the same level) and I disregard any belgian and french movies that would touch me for reasons that can't be conveyed in words, and then my favourite movie could be either the down-to-earth tongue-in-cheek hippie story of Alice's Restaurant or the sensational par-ti-ci-pa-...-tive decadence of the Rocky Horror Picture Show... Oh, well, it could be another movie as well, it depends on my mood... and Ah ah today I feel quite transylvanian so let's settle on RHPS until further notice... because we will all do the time warp again sometime...
Ok, dearie 1922, in case you skipped a beat, my favorite movie to include in your list is The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Thanks for letting me know that and solving another of the world's many mysteries, dearie cramoukji.
If backed into a corner, I'd have to go with Mulholland Drive.
Thanks! I've put it up. Excellent choice. I've already seen it several times, and I never get tired of it. An intelligent cinematic jigsaw puzzle.
Ooh! Just noticed I was listed. Thanks for noting me, 1922. I knew that endorsement would pay off some day. ;-)
And I don't think it's possible for someone to look at my username and my favorite movie together without thinking I am a total dork. Which I am. But oh well.
Actually I rarely check endorsements. Thanks anyway. The main reasons you are listed are because a) you have a list and b) you are a listologist, aren't you?
'Twas but a joke. :-P
Of course. :)
