Damn, good choices of sub-par artists here. I don't know about Phish, just because I've heard they're fantastic live, and to appreciate them you really have to see them. So my jury's still out on that one. But, yeah, there's a lot of sub-par music out there these days. Matchbox 20 and Creed come to mind personally.
Uhh, Creed. I will add them immediately. Thankfully, my students weren't too fired up about Matchbox Twenty, Third Eye Blind, etc. They seem to really go for somewhat accoustic, "jam band" types. Although, Creed and Limp Bizkit did get a lot of support when we talked about music. Must pray for them...
