- My 6th great-grand uncle was John Paul Jones, founder of the US Navy, and government-sponsored pirate.
- A couple of times recently I have made the oh-so-graceful move of falling back in my chair because when I went to stand up.... I was standing on my hair.... I might just need to start considering a cut.... (Done. Eight inches gone.)
- My college major was Sign Language Studies.
- I read in the shower.
- My fingers will not straighten completely. It's called a 'swan neck deformity,' which is a pretty name for something that occassionally bothers me, but I'm pretty sure most people never notice.
- I was kicked out of daycare... As an adult I worked in daycare for 2 years. (Wasn't kicked out that time.)
- It's only been since July of 2006 that I've finally given in to having a cell phone. Even with all my TechnoJoy!
- I'm 3 inches too tall to legally be a midget. (I'm sometimes disappointed by this.)
- I have it set in my mind that my hair's not really all that long, so even now, when it's within inches of reaching my knees, I'm occasionally shocked by it.
- My parents met and married in Abu Dhabi.
- I'm mostly straight, but married to a lesbian.

Wha? How do you read in the shower? How does the book not get wet?
Also, I'm pretty sure you had a cellphone the first time you visited Vermont, so late 2005.
Yeah, that lasted for just about the duration of that trip.
And the reading in the shower? It's a skill I gained in the course of my surgeries - once you've worked out how to shower while keeping one arm dry, attaching a book to said arm is not that far a jump.
Wow. Live and learn.
Did you figure out how to read while taking off your cast as well? Because I will never watch another episode of Ben Stein as long as I live.
Cool. I practice full-contact origami.
Hel-met.
