- The Vague Idea:
- I've recommended one CD for a seperate listologist to give a listen in the next week and finally write a review. You don't actually have to participate since there's no way to enforce such a standard, so just have fun and if you don't wanna do...don't do it. Other than that, do what you like: trade CD picks, recommend to another person on listology, whatever you want. If anyone wants to recommend a CD for me, just put it in the discussion and I'll give it a whirl...so to speak.
- Fillmore's pick:
- Alexander "Skip" Spence- Oar (Sundazed, 1969)
- AJDaGreat's Pick:
- Palace Brothers: There Is Noone What Will Take Care Of You (Palace Music, 1993)
- AAA's Pick:
- Nick Cave: Abattoir Blues/ The Lyres Of Orpheus (CDStrumm, 2004)
- Cosgrove's Pick
- The Vibrators: Pure Mania (Columbia, 1977)
- Imposter's Pick
- Dizzee Rascal: Boy In Da Corner (XL, 2003)

This sounds like a really cool concept! I can't guarantee that I'll be able to hear the album in the next week, but I'll definitely keep the album in my radar and let you know what I think when I pick it up.
A CD for you? It'll be tough to come up with one that you're not familiar with. Hmm... how about the Apples in Stereo's Her Wallpaper Reverie?
I've thought about that and I'm prepared, I'm going to put these albums on my puter in MP3 format and then make them available on WinMX download program under a header that will look like this
(stook) album title- Track Number- Artist Name- Track Name
If you seek you shall find (that's probably going to happen tomorrow BTW).
Apples In Stereo you say...well I should admit that I've heard this album a few years ago and liked it, so I shall hunt up a copy and get back in a week.

Sorry, but (a) I don't have WinMX, and (b) even if I did, I'm at a college that is cracking down on downloading. Thanks for the offer though.
Bummer, o well, take your time and get back when you can.
:?)
My suggestion to, well, everyone is Kasabian's debut CD.
It couldn't be easier, folks - you can stream their ENTIRE ALBUM online right here.
I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone would post their thoughts or at least a note letting us know you DID check it out :-)
I've listened and it's good, I'll listen one more time and write a review.
:?)
Nice.
I really like it but I've noticed that its freshness doesn't impress for as long as I'd hoped. Around the 6th listen-through (over several weeks), I started to feel more complacent about the album, but I still think it's very good, especially as a debut album from an unknown group.
I like this game, too, but it might be a bit more difficult for everybody to hear a particular CD than it would be to watch a DVD. Nonetheless, your recommendation from me shall be Mirror Blue, by Richard Thompson.
Aha, I've heard Mirror Blue, 4 times in fact, cus I borrowed it off a friendly guy named Chris. Good album but I prefer the Old Kit Bag. I'll do my part however and listen once more...review forthcoming.
That means you've left yourself open for a pick, bwahahahahahahaha. Look to the top!
