When I get crazy over a song I spin it to death. But many are hardy stuff. Still alive and kickin' despite all my abuse!

I saw Heather Nova live in 2003 near my home. I didn't know much about her before the show, but she had a backing band who too often didn't allow her vocals the prominence the concert demanded. It was still obvious what a good singer and composer she was.

Yeah, I guess she'd have sounded better with a more acoustic set. But you're so lucky to have been able to catch her live!

Yeah. It was probably Mercury Rev what did that to her. I actually sorta liked that. It was the best "solo artist plus band" coupling that I can recall.
