Songs I'm into Right Now (Part 2)

Tags:
  • 1. All the Young Dudes-Mott the Hoople (Thank you Mr. Bowie!)
  • 2. Tumbling Dice-Rolling Stones (My favorite Stones song)
  • 3. Come on Eileen-Dexy's Midnight Runners (Easily one of the Best songs of the '80s)
  • 4. Blues from a Gun-Jesus and Mary Chain (More great '80s new wave)
  • 5. Tangerine-Big Head Todd and the Monsters (almost as good as Zep's)
  • 6. Windswept-Bryan Ferry (Gorgeous, moody, brilliant)
  • 7. One of these Days-Pink Floyd (the best rock instrumental ever made)
  • 8. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down-The Band (Never get tired of this classic)

Great stuff!

You're absolutely correct about #3, and I also never tire of #8...

Shalom, y'all!

You are certainly right anout 'One of these Days' being the best rock instrumental ever made, but I always hated) Dexy's Midnight Runners Come on Eileen.

I always thought that Tumbling Dice was underrated.
All The Young Dudes is an all-time classic - I once saw them live.

Mott live in concert? Wow! I heard that 'All the Way from Memphis' was pretty incredible.

Yes...I could see where "..Eileen" could be an aquired taste.
