- (Un)fortunately, my parents were lax about music. Now I can only imagine how we looked bouncing around in pigtails singing ex-rated songs.
- "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg"- TLC ("Two inches or a yard rock hard or if it's saggin'..." I had no clue what they were talking about back then, lol.)
- "Freak Like Me"- Adina Howard ("We can pump pump all through the night till the early morn")
- "Get it Up"- TLC ("Get it up! I'll freak you all night!" No, I didn't know what they were talking about then either...)
- "Oochie Coochie"- MC Brains ("Oochie coochie, lalala, oochie coochie!" I think we had a faint idea of what he was talking about, but we were still singing it!)
- "Pop that Coochie"- 2 Live Crew (NOTHING by 2 Live Crew was "safe" for 10 year-olds, lol.)
- "Bump N Grind"- R. Kelly (Very little by R. Kelly was safe either. The whole "12Play" album because we owned it! We were too rightly embarrassed to play it very often though. "I don't see nothin' wrong... with a little Bump N'Grind..." Well, maybe if it's a teenager, Arruh...)
- "Me So Horny"- 2 Live Crew ("Me so horny, me love you long time!" Why didn't my mama stop me????)
- "Giving He Something He Can Feel"- En Vogue (Not downright nasty, but still too naughty for 10 year-olds. We probably attracted some pedophiles back in those days, especially since we had the sexy dance moves down too...)
- "Downtown"- SWV ("Downtown, that's the way to my love, go downtown, taste the sweetness you've been dreaming of..." Yes, I was clueless. This song would remind me of late night trips in downtown Chicago, acting goofy with cousins, lol.
- "Pull up to My Bumper"- Patra ("Pull up to the middle baby, and fit into my space... in your long black limousine, drive it in between..." Clueless, still. Heh. )
